Can you see what’s wrong with this picture?
If you guessed there shouldn’t be a plastic baggie floating up out of the expensive pastured chicken in my pot, you’d be right.
I forgot to take the little goody bag out before cooking my chicken!
DANG it!

Oh, and I made meatballs and hid liver in them! Totally can’t tell!
Now, if I had only not used ground lamb for the rest of the meat (not a huge lamb fan), I’d actually like them. Ah well…

Oh yay! Glad to hear your eating liver!! Do you guys eat sausage? That is my favorite food to use when trying to disguise other food flavors.

We were eating it until the discount grocery stopped carrying the only brand w/out nasty stuff in it (MSG, etc.) Then we were eating it again from our own pig until we ran out of our freezer stash. So yes, but not right now, lol…
I’ll remember that for later…
Oh, and this is the first time I’ve ever voluntarily eaten liver, so thanks for mentioning it could be disguised effectively!

Well… you could have pretended you don’t know about the serious dangers of plastics (especially at high temperatures) and checked to see if any of it was edible!
I did something similar once with a crockpot full of beef and peppers. I plugged it in and forgot to turn it on. Realized it about 6 hours later… Haven’t forgotten to turn a crockpot on since and I’m sure you’ll never forget to take a second look at Mr. Chicken either!

LOL, yeah don’t think the thought of pretending I don’t know about plastic didn’t cross my mind!
And every orafice of every animal that I plan to cook will be thoroughly checked from now on,lol
